Diegetic and not Diegetic sounds

At the start there is a high pitch noise, this is a not diegetic sound because it is not in the shot, this is a background sound used, it sounds mysterious and it is a good opening noise, it leaves people unsure of what is going on.

their is also voice overs of characters, this is a non-diegetic sound the actor is narrating over a scene.

There is the sound of light sabers clashing together this is a digetic sound because it is actually in the shot.

Scott Pilgrim.

Mise en Scene

At the start scott is trying to find a girl, and when he finds her you get a close up of their faces, scott looks like he is really serious and exited  that he has found her and she looks like she dosen't care that much

the first evil ex is shown in a mid shot. you can see his face and he looks really serious, he seems quite odd as he talks and moves weird. his hair covers half of his face and it is black and the colour black usually in films is evil.

at the end scott is about to fight the last evil ex, in the shot he is raised on a pyramid thing, the camera is a low angle shot making him look bigger and better, while scott is on the ground looking smaller then him.
